The vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has said the party is moving towards reconciliation on the “little issues” in the party.
Okowa said this while briefing journalists after a reconciliation meeting with the acting Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Adolphus Wabara, at the Delta State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja on Saturday.
Okowa said, “We are talking among ourselves as governors; I believe that there is still a little work to do, but a lot has been done. There are still issues to be dealt with; that is why you have seen the visit of the leaders of the party, the Board of Trustees.”
Pundits have said that PDP’s chances in the 2023 General Elections largely depend on how the party navigates its internal crisis.
