Uncovered assets not mine; I’ve only N2.8m in my bank account, says Abba Kyari

The suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari, has denied owning assets recently discovered by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

This is made known in a statement by his lawyer, Barr. Hamza Dan Tani.

“All the allegations on money and properties by NDLEA belonging to Abba Kyari are false, untrue and lies”, the lawyer said.

Earlier today, the NDLEA said it has discovered monies stacked away in different bank accounts, to the tune of over N207 million, together with properties in Abuja and Maiduguri, all belonging to the embattled former DCP.
