Nigeria’s Super Falcons were thrashed last night during the friendly match against the United States of America (USA), as they lost 4-0. The United States’ women national team defeated the Super Falcons in an international friendly game in Kansas city.

Nigeria is on a two-game playing tour of the U.S., which is part of their preparation for next year’s women World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand. Both teams will meet again in Washington DC on September 6.

Meanwhile, Nigerian champions, Bayelsa Queens, defeated Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa, 3-0 to become the country’s first club to qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
