Roger Federer, an 8-time Wimbledon winner is set to draw down the curtains on an illustrious career that span over 24 years after the Laver Cup event in London later this month.
“The Laver Cup next week in London will be my final ATP event. I will play more tennis in the future, of course, but just not in grand slams or on the tour”, he said in a statement.
No matter what happens in the Laver Cup in London, the 41-year old, a 20-time grand slam winner, considered by many as the greatest Tennis player of all time, will be bowing out with his legendary status safe and secure.
