As part of efforts to improve commercial activities towards generating more revenue to Bauchi State, the State Government has inaugurated the construction of Ultra-Modern Market in Azare town of Katagum local government area.

When constructed, the modern market would house over six hundred shops and basic amenities including water system, road network and firefighting equipment among others.
