Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said that he has been working behind the scenes to quell the crisis rocking the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
In a series of tweets on his verified twitter handle @bukolasaraki said that he understands that people are “concerned” over his silence, but he reassured Nigerians that he is indeed “working silently working behind the scenes” in order to bring the conflict within the party to an end.
“PDP and Atiku Abubakar remain the best option for Nigerians in the 2023 polls!“, he further added.
This is the first time the former President of the Senate has spoken publicly about state of affairs in the PDP since the primary election in May, where he constested and lost to Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential flag bearer.
