Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has sent a warning to the camp of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tinubu and some APC chieftains had visited Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on Wednesday.

Barely 24 hours later, House Representative Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila said Obasanjo made encouraging statements about Tinubu’s aspiration and even prayed for the APC presidential candidate.

Responding to this however, Obasanjo said, “Those claiming to be insiders at the meeting issuing statement on the discussion and those crediting to me statement I had not made are enemies of the visitor and are not doing the visit any good.”
