The Nigerian Army has said that its operatives have killed three suspected bandits in Kaduna state.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Nwachukwu Onyema in a statement on Sunday said the suspects were killed around Sabon Birni, Dogondawa-Kuyelo and Farin Ruwa on Saturday.
When the troops encountered them during patrol, Nwachukwu said there was an exchange of gunfire.
“The dogged and highly motivated troops, while on a fighting patrol, came in contact with an unconfirmed number of bandits,” he said.
