A group under the name Nigeria Football Stakeholders, has threatened to bomb the venue of the Nigeria Football Federation election venue, if the poll is not cancelled.
In a letter dated 7 August 2022, addressed to the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare and signed by Dagogo Johnbull, the group threatened that “blood will flow” if the NFF proceeds with the election as they will not hesitate to “bomb and bring down the venue of the election.”
The group further advised that to “save lives”, NFF should immediately put paid to the process.
NFF election is scheduled to take place on 30th September in Benin City, Edo State.
