The federal government has called on football stakeholders in the country to remain calm and abide by the court order restraining the conduct of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) election scheduled for Friday in Benin City.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ismaila Abubakar, permanent secretary, federal ministry of youth and sports development, the ministry advised all stakeholders to maintain status quo as taking any further step as regards the NFF election scheduled for Friday will amount to disobedience of court order.
The Skuup had reported yesterday that, some NFF Presidential aspirants had said the elections will go on as planned, despite court order.
