Military wares, cash found in Tukur Mamu’s house – SSS

The Department of State Service (DSS) says it recovered incriminating materials, including military accoutrements, large amounts of different currencies and denominations in the house of bandits’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu.

The spokesman of DSS, Peter Afunanya disclosed this on Thursday: “So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office. During the processes, incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered” he said.

Mr. Mamu once acted as the principal negotiator between the Federal Government and the bandits. He brokered the release of many hostages held captive by the Kaduna train attackers.
