King Charles III and the Muslim world – What now?

As Britons continue preparations for the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II, interest has begun to focus on what King Charles’ relationship with the Muslim world be like. Politically, Britain continues to have strong ties with the Muslim world.

Prior to becoming King, Charles shunned the idea that Islam and Christianity are on a collision course. He rejected the idea of East vs West. Going by his past speeches and interviews, the new British monarch believes that Islam has had a significant and positive role in the evolution and rise of Europe.

On what his relationship as a King will be with the Islamic world, it’s still early days as he has not fully settled. However, it is expected that he will accord Islam, as all other faiths, due respect and inclusive engagements.
