The director of Public Affairs of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has explained the reason why Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was excluded from the 442-member campaign council.
Mr Keyamo said in a statement on Saturday that the decision was at the instance of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, is the Chairman of the Campaign Council. As a result, Mr. President has SPECIFICALLY directed that the Vice-President and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha should be left out of the Campaign Council to concentrate on the governance of the country and administration of Government.”
The Skuup has earlier reported that Osinbanjo’s name was missing from the 442-member Tinubu Campaign Committee.
