Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has signed into law, a total of four hundred and thirty seven billion Naira as the 2024 Budget.
Governor Yusuf promised to use the budget in delivering on his campaign promises to the people of the state.
The budget tagged “budget of restoration and transformation” is the first to be presented and signed into law by Governor Abba Yusuf.
In the presence of his Deputy, Aminu Gwarzo, the speaker of Kano State House of Assembly and other government functionaries while appending signature to the document, Abba Yusuf said through the budget, the people of Kano will witness more development in the coming year.
The governor expressed gratitude to members of the House of Assembly for painstakingly doing justice to the estimates presented to them in October 2023.
Education, which the governor says is the signature sector of his administration has twenty nine point nine percent of the total budget for 2024. It is amied at revitalizing the sector.
