The Federal Government has condemned in strong terms, the economic blueprint unveiled by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who spoke yesterday at a news conference in Abuja, said the blueprint is a poor version of president Buhari’s economic programme.

Mohammed slammed Atiku’s blueprint saying, “This press conference, therefore, is aimed at exposing the hypocrisy inherent in an opposition that condemns an administration while also showcasing a blueprint that is nothing but a poor version of what is on ground”.

Some observers had praised Atiku for unveiling his economic plans for Nigeria and urged other presidential candidates to follow suit.
