There are reports of a mixed atmosphere of excitement and some apprehension less than twenty-four hours to President Buhari’s visit to Imo State.

Excitement because Governor Hope Uzodinma and his supporters see Buhari’s visit as an endorsement of the State government; and apprehension on the other hand, because of the Tuesday sit-at-home notice given by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

President Buhari is expected to inaugurate three landmark projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma in less than three years.

The State government says they have beefed up security for the President’s visit.
