Dauda Lawal has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election rerun in Zamfara.
He polled 422 votes to beat his two opponents — Ibrahim Shehu and Hafiz Nahuche — who scored one vote each.
Hassan Hyet, chairman of the governorship primary election committee and Kaduna state PDP chairman, announced the results at the conclusion of the exercise in Gusau, Zamfara capital.
Recall that on September 16, The Skuup reported that the court has nullified Zamfara PDP Governorship primaries, and ordered for a rerun.
