The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Monday, has refused to disqualify Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, from participating in the 2023 presidential election.
Also the court, in a judgement that was delivered by Justice Donatus Okorowo, declined to invalidate the candidacy of Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The court declared that a suit the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lodged against the two presidential candidates, lacked merit.
The PDP had approached the court, alleging that Obi and Tinubu had breached the Electoral Act.
