In what may be his very last time as a democratically elected President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari will address the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA77) on September 21.
“Aside his National Statement, the president will also participate in high level meetings and side events including the Nigeria International Economic Partnership Forum (NIEPF),’’ President’s media aide, Femi Adesina, said.
The theme for the 77th session is: “A watershed moment: Transformative solutions to interlocking challenges”
In a speech in Imo State earlier this week, President Buhari had touched on what he said were his successes and challenges since he came to power in 2015.
