The Football Association (FA) has charged Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo over footage which appeared to show him knocking a mobile phone out of a fan’s hand.

The video was shared on social media. It is claimed that he smashed the phone after a 1-0 loss at Everton.

The police cautioned him over the incident.
