The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday, has indicated his willingness to make changes in his party but also gave conditions for that.
Alhaji Abubakar was reacting to the demand of governor Makande of Oyo State who said the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu must be sacked. Atiku said Ayu’s resignation must be done in accordance with the party’s constitution, rules, regulations and practice.
Atiku said: “We cannot do anything outside our constitution except if it is amended. We cannot do anything unless the laws are amended.
Governor Makinde, along with his ally, governor Nyesom Wike are adamant that Ayu must go.
