APC Galadima ward removes state chairman over leadership concerns

The APC Galadima ward in Gusau local government, Zamfara State, has removed Alhaji Tukur Danfulani Maikatako from his position as the State Chairman of the party, citing his perceived inability to effectively lead.

The executive members of APC Galadima ward declared this during an emergency press briefing held on Saturday in Gusau, the state capital.

According to the executive, they decided to save the party from suffering bad leadership in the hands of the Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, adding that they have lost confidence in him.

The spokesman and Vice Chairman of the APC Galadima ward under Gusau local government where the state party Chairman hailed, Alhaji Garba Bello disclosed that 16 out of 27 executive members of the ward have signed to expelled the embattled Tukur Danfulani from the party.

“It’s disheartening that the state APC Chairman Tukur Danfulani Maikatako was alleged to have divided the party due to his bad leadership in the state, which is against the party constitution and it’s manifest from national to state levels”.

He further opined that, Danfulani Maikatako was also alleged to have taken side on many issues of interest assigning duties with those that are not executive members of the party,”That is against the constitution of our party” , he cried.

“For example,Tukur Danfulani allegedly sometimes relegate party affairs to those that are not his Excos, which is against the constitution of the party”.

According to him, 90 percent of executive members of APC Galadima ward of Gusau local government have agreed unanimously and notified their ward members at APC Gusau local government, State and National headquarters that, Tukur Danfulani Maikatako stands dismissed from the party.

The Galadima ward executive of APC therefore, urged the party leadership at national headquarters to as a matter of urgency send a caretaker Chairman to Zamfara State, as Tukur Danfulani Maikatako is no longer a member of the great party APC.
