The People’s Redemption Party’s governorship candidate in Ogun State, David Bamgbose has died just one week after the party formally presented him as its candidate for the 2023 elections.
Oduntan Olayemi, the deceased’s Personal Assistant, confirmed the story, saying that Bamgbose died on Friday at a private Hospital in Abeokuta.
Olayemi said Bamgbose had complained of tiredness before he was rushed to a hospital around the Olomore area of Abeokuta where he was referred to the Federal Medical Centre for further checks.
