The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has appointed Aisha Buhari as the head of its women’s campaign team, the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team.
According to a statement signed by Rinsola Abiola on Saturday, a member of the media and administrative committees in the team, the First Lady is expected to lead the party’s women’s wing ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
It will be recalled that Aisha apologised to Nigerians over the dire economic situation and the security challenges pervading the country under the Buhari-led administration.
